Day 11 - Philippians 2:15

You are called to be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world.                                 ~Philippians 2:15

Do you think of yourself as a star? Philippians 2:15 says that's what you and I are called to be! Paul says you shine like stars in the world. Did you get that? We shine like stars in a dark world!

Remember, people navigate by the stars.

Wikipedia says that "Celestial Navigation uses angular measurements taken between a celestial body (the sun, the moon, a planet or a navigational star) and the visible horizon. The star Polaris, often called the North Star, is treated specially due to its proximity to the north celestial pole.”

For all of us, Jesus is the North Star (our heavenly Polaris), a bright and unmoving star that is the foundation of life navigation. And, get this - Polaris is a trinity! It is a multiple star, consisting of three parts: the main star α UMi Aa, and two companions, α UMi B and α UMi Ab

The North Star (Polaris), is called “the guiding star” by navigators, and it is not one star, but three forming one bright light, often the brightest star in the night sky.
Its a trinity star! Like our God! Three who are One!

But navigators use other stars, called “pointer stars,” to fix a certain course by the North Star. According to Paul, that’s us! We’re the pointer stars! We line up in a way that points to Jesus!

So, are you living is such a way that people can navigate life by you... and find their way Home to Jesus?
