Day 7 - Philippians 2:3-4

In humility consider others as more important than yourselves.  Everyone should look out not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.
             ~Philippians 2:3-4

Paul gives two characteristics of true humility.

1. Humility is putting great value on others, even considering them more important than ourselves. That's the humility attitude.

2. Humility means working for
the interests of others.… even more than working for our own interests. That's the humility activity

Humility doesn't mean we lower our levels of self-esteem or
self-interest so much as It means that we raise the levels of others.

Humility is not putting ourselves down so much as lifting others up!
